1- Netflix ($9–16 per month):  

A most popular alternative, Netflix, is an amusing option for binge-watching complete seasons all at once. Since Netflix isn’t an ad supporter, so you can watch your favorite shows without any distraction. Netflix is highly affordable and incredibly accessible, and you can cancel your subscription anytime. Although Netflix allows you to watch the first month free of cost, which is the icing on the cake, subscribing is worth it.    

Netflix offers three different packages. The Basic Package entertains one user at a time for $8.99 per month. The quality given in the basic package is standard, and it doesn’t support HD or Ultra quality.    

Next to the basic, there is a standard HD plan that charges $13.99 per month. In the standard package, it allows 2 screens. You can watch on your phone, tablet, or laptop. It offers HD streaming but doesn’t give Ultra HD.    

If you want to upgrade your package from standard, the premium will work for you. It charges $17.99 per month and gives four screens maximum. Both HD and Ultra HD are available.   

This year Netflix came out with another way to watch: Netflix party. 

2- Hulu ($7.99 or $11.99 a month):  

Like Netflix, Hulu offers the best streaming services that are affordable and a good alternative to cable TV. Not just that they have original content, you can also watch shows from local channels after on-aired. There is no cancellation hassle. You can add-on, remove or cancel your plan anytime.    

They have the best packages that everyone can afford. Hulu currently offers four different packages.   

First is the Basic package that charges $5.99 per month and lets you watch all the movies in the Hulu library. You will also get to see complete episodes of some popular TV shows. For the basic package, you will have to sit through some repetitive ads.    

To get rid of the commercials, you can upgrade to a no-Ads package. It charges $12 per month and allows you to enjoy shows commercial-free. Like Netflix, it only allows one device at a time. Next is the live TV for $64.99 per month. It seems closer to the cable TV package, but it offers more content than a basic cable package.    

3- ShareTV: 

ShareTV can be a good alternative when it comes to watching TV online for free. It has high-quality content with full episodes. It has minimal ads which is a plus point for its consumers. You can choose what to watch from their massive library of movies and TV shows. 

4- Crackle: 

It is a streaming service provided by Sony. It was founded in 2006, and currently, it is available in 21 countries only. It offers content produced by Sony Pictures. Sony Pictures are one of the largest distributors of TV shows in the US. It is free to access in certain regions. Crackle offers some exclusive shows which are not available anywhere else. 

5- EuroPixHD: 

EuroPixHD offers quality content that is mostly available in English. That is why it is popular in the US and UK. You can watch TV shows and the latest movies without getting charged. It also contains filters so that you can reach out to the movie you are looking for.
