Typify.io

Typify.io is the new kid on the block, looking to change the way we present ourselves to other people online. Typify lets you create a personal web page, an online profile, without the hassle. It’s very easy to use, and as soon as I saw the sleek design I knew I would write a blog post about it.

Typify is the perfect startup for web developers, web designers, programmers and other tech savvy people. Currently Typifiy is in a closed beta, but you are able to signup and test the services by using the following invite code: BETALIST, use it on this signup page.

On your dashboard panel you will be presented with a number of options and tools to start creating your own personalized Typify page. The really nice thing is that you can also point a domain name to your Typify profile, buying a domain name with your name and surname might not be a bad idea after all. Other than that, custom cover photo and favicon is also available under the same menu.

In order to have a profile photo you will either need to signup with an email address that is associated with an Gravatar account or link a social media profile such as Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. At the moment the only ones available for pulling profile photo.

Here is the list of services that Typify supports so far:

I honestly believe that we are going to see more of Typify in the near feature, and I wish the best of luck to the team of developers behind it. In case you are wondering, it’s developed with Python and is based on Django Web Framework. We already feature a list of popular Django websites, and Typify is another one to add to the list.

To finish the post off, here is my own profile.
